Bharatiya Janata Majdoor Cell (BJMC)

Official Alliances and Affiliations

The Bharatiya Janata Majdoor Cell (BJMC) is a national labour and trade union organization founded on the principles of Integral Humanism, Antyodaya, and Sarvodaya, inspired by the ideology of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and the vision of a self-reliant and just society.

BJMC works under the broad national framework of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and maintains ideological, social, and organizational relations with allied labour and political entities for the overall welfare and empowerment of workers across India.

Political and National Alliances

Republican Party of India (Athawale) – BJMC is officially allied with the Republican Party of India (Athawale), a constituent of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). This alliance strengthens the collective efforts for social justice, labour dignity, and inclusive national progress.

National Democratic Alliance (NDA) – BJMC supports the national policies and development agenda of the NDA, particularly those focused on the welfare of the working class, economic reforms, and industrial peace.

Federations and Trade Union Affiliations

BJMC maintains close working relationships and formal affiliations with various national-level labour federations operating under the Trade Union Act, 1926, and recognized by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.

Officially Affiliated and Coordinated Federations include:

  1. All India Port Trust Workers Federation
  2. All India FCI Workers Federation
  3. All India Food and Drinks Workers Federation
  4. All India Transport Workers Federation

These federations work in harmony with BJMC to protect workers’ rights, promote welfare, and ensure industrial peace in their respective sectors.

Cooperative Networks

Coordination with Central and State Labour Welfare Boards, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and Private Industry Bodies for policy implementation and grievance redressal.

Collaboration with Skill Development Missions, Social Security Boards, and Government Labour Departments for effective delivery of welfare schemes.

Ideological and educational cooperation with organizations such as Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) and other like-minded labour movements.

Major Areas of Work

BJMC is dedicated to ensuring that the Indian working class becomes self-reliant, secure, and nationally conscious, in alignment with the national development vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

Labour Welfare and Protection

  • Ensuring strict implementation of labour laws and industrial safety regulations.
  • Advocating for fair wages, social security, and decent working conditions.
  • Providing legal assistance, grievance redressal, and collective bargaining support.
  • Protecting the rights of unorganized and contract labourers.


Employment and Skill Development

Promoting vocational training, skill enhancement, and self-employment through:

  • Skill India Mission
  • PM Vishwakarma Yojana
  • National Apprenticeship Programme
  • Establishing BJMC Employment Cells and Skill Centres across states and districts.


Social and Economic Empowerment

  • Promoting access to EPF, ESI, Ayushman Bharat, and PM Shram Yogi Maandhan.
  • Encouraging financial inclusion through Jan Dhan Yojana and PM Mudra Loan schemes.
  • Supporting women workers, migrant labourers, and differently-abled workers through targeted welfare initiatives.


Ideological, Educational, and Cultural Activities

  • Propagating the ideology of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya through seminars, workshops, and awareness drives.
  • Organizing national campaigns promoting Swachh Bharat, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Digital India, and Viksit Bharat.
  • Conducting cultural and patriotic programs to strengthen unity and discipline among workers.


Relief, Solidarity, and Public Service

  • Mobilizing members for relief operations during natural disasters, industrial crises, and public emergencies.
  • Providing immediate assistance to affected worker families.
  • Promoting solidarity, cooperation, and national service among the workforce.

  • Training & Skill Development: Conducting certified vocational training and capacity-building workshops.

  • Safety Awareness Drives: Promoting safe working practices through awareness camps, health check-ups, and protective gear distribution.

  • Social Welfare Initiatives: Organising welfare programs for workers’ families — education, health, and insurance support.
